Not really a migration sighting, but a sighting nevertheless. I saw a single monarch at a local plant nursery in late October. I have a very active butterfly population at my home but have yet to see a monarch in 4 years so I figured it may have been in a shipment of plants. Today, 18 Nov, I saw a single monarch in my garden These are the first ones I've seen since I lived near Ft Walton, FL beach and actually witnessed a large group migrating. My Georgia Monarchs may be lonely, lost individuals, but a welcome sight indeed. My observation time: I was watching for ___0 hours and __1_ minutes.
