On Sunday I found a full grown Monarch caterpillar attached to the outside of my screened porch. Due to the cold nights it is taking longer to form the chrysalis. FInally this late afternoon it has completely turned green. Inspecting my milkweed today I found 2 small caterpillars and at least 1 dozen eggs. So, the good news is the cycle continues here in FL while the other Monarchs overwinter in Mexico.
