FINAL SIGHTING REPORT
October 20,2009 was our final sighting for this year's ruby-throated hummingbirds. We continued to provide fresh syrup until 11/24/09, but to our knowledge we did not have any visitors even though our fall season has been very mild this year. Today, 12/03/2009, is the first sighting of a very light snow, and the salvias, roses, petunias, hyssops, and cardinal flowers have continued to bloom...it's time to put the feeders away for another year and bed down the garden as well. See you next year!
