Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/04/2009

Number: 1

After a week of nightly frost, we still have Anna's hummingbirds (males and females) as well as one juvenal rufous.
The frosts appear to have brought extra Anna's to the feeders and there have been fights, even though there are more than enough feeders.
(I've been getting up at the break of dawn to make sure the nectar is not frozen and refill the feeders when it is.)
