This past weekend we had our first freezing temperatures and avery heavy frost. Monday the students were shocked to see all the flowers in our hummingbird and butterfly gardens withered and dead. They had been still blooming beautifully Friday when we did our oubervations. We explored several Internet sites to find out why. If you know any good sites to help explain this to grades K-1, I would appreciate it if you would email them to me.
