Once again this winter, I have my "regulars" 3 Anna's (2m/1f) wintering with at least one more visitor that just arrived a couple of weeks ago. This is the 3rd winter they have been here year-round. I bring the feeders in at night and hang them back out just before daybreak each morning without fail. I adjust my sugar mixture from 1:4 to 1:3.5 or 1:3 during these days. This winter I am trying "supplementing" their mixture with calcium/nutrients just to get through the worst of this cold. I thought this was too far North for these guys to winter?
