Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/12/2009

Number: 1

I saw a very bright, very hot-pink-headed hummingbird this morning at approximately 10:30 as I was hanging Christmas lights on my balcony. It was an amazing moment. This beautiful bird thought my bright Christmas lights were bright flowers. I live in the heart of the city of Seattle and was amazed that this creature found their way into a fairly inhospitable environment. I will look into getting a feeder today if it is appropriate. I hope to see one again.
