Our last sighting of the "green-backed Rufous Hummingbird that has been visiting the feeder since the end of October was Sunday December 20.
We were at the table having breakfast and beginning a discussion of 'should we take the feeder down before it freezes 'cause there's no more hummers..." when my husband pointed out the female Ruby Throat (possible BlackChinned) sipping away (about 9:15 am). She's been back 2 more times in the last 10 minutes.
