Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/26/2009

Number: 1

After reading several articles regarding the migration of the hummingbirds we read that is recommended to leave your feeders up and you may attract hummingbirds that are migrating or late flyers. This is the first year we have left our feeders and we make sure they are clean and full of fresh nectar. Every day this month (December) we have had hummingbirds frequent our feeder. To date they have all been the ruby throated hummingbirds but we are still hopeful we may have a rare occurance of a different species.
