We planted our tulip bulbs on November 3, 2009. It was 58 degrees and sunny. The next few days turned very rainy and much cooler. We have 5 raised beds for our tulips to protect the tulips from foot traffic and animals. We have about 85 4th graders participating in Journey North. We are located just east of Kansas City, MO (about one hour) and we are the location for the Missouri State Fair.
