Hello from Mr.Gullickson's 4th/5th grade classroom in Albany, Oregon. Our school, Central Elementary, is located in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley. This is the second year that our school has participated with the Journey North tulip study. We have 33 students in our classroom. This year each student in our classroom planted their own tulip. Some students in our classroom also planted a tulip last year.

Throughout the course of our study, we will be monitoring and recording both the soil and air temperatures in our garden. We will then graph this data and share it with other schools participating with the Journey North program.
