It has been very cold here in January, we had below freezing temperatures and snow, everything was frozen, but just as soon as the temps were above freezing (barely) I saw my backyard filled with Robins and I wondered where they came from. When I worked (retired) I observed them all along the Natchez Trace a Federal Hwy that runs from Nashville TN to Natchez MS and is about a mile from my backyard. Just in the last couple of years have they been in my yard. Lots of worms I guess?
