To my amazement I saw about 20 to 30 robins pecking away at the lawn in my backyard at around 4:30pm.We had a warm-up today to about 50 degrees. Later when I went out the front door they were on the ground and in the trees I heard singing. We have had a bitter winter, cold and windy.. never expected them to be here this soon. Let it be a sign of an early Spring..A very welcome sight indeed.
