Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/18/2010

Number: 1

A huge flock of Robins eating holly berries from our tree. They began working on the tree at 8am this morning and had cleaned the tree by 5:30pm. I had to clean my car from the huge amount of droppings that they left...the berries appear to be going right through them or they have been dining on these berries for awhile. They flock filled our huge maple tree...about 60 birds. Many birds would wait in the tree while others were trying to land on the sharp branches to reach the berries. A very neat thing to watch from the windows.
