Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 01/19/2010

Number: 1

I heard it singing (most like the peek and tut) and looked up in the tree above me thinking it sounded like a baby bird, I couldn't believe it, it was a Robin. Someone once told me that Robins stay in the cedar trees here in Missouri, I didn't believe that, what would they eat? But seeing this one in January, WOW! I did notice that the earthworms had been working their way up when I went outside. It has been very warm, 58 degrees here, maybe the Robins are trying to tell us something, I always have said "You know spring is here when you see the first Robin cause birds don't make mistakes. Hope I'm right.
