Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 01/21/2010

Number: 1

It appears that despite a colder that normal December here in Northeast NJ some robins never left, there have been sightings in the area all winter and today I had about a dozen at my pond and bird bath. Carolina wrens are also plentiful--it seems that each year more and more birds are spending the winter instead of migrating. A few days ago, there were several redwing blackbirds in among the grackles and starlings.
