Mount Pleasant is about 3-5 miles North of Charleston and the sighting about 4 miles West of the coast.
First sighting was about three weeks ago. 2 of them together atop a dead tree at side of pond. Area is not particularly remote.
Equal in size, both not all that large (young?) Subsequent sightings of only one at a time. Sunny weather only. The same tree allows for a sighting about once a week. I now carry binoculars in the car for closer viewing. They are so cool!
