Jan 23, 2010:Probably 1,000 robins flying between two trees across my driveway at about 7:30am and still going at 9am. This area is between 2 lakes and suburban housing area. The temperature is cool in the low 60's but not cold. It’s sunny. There are lots of trees and some vacant area in the area too. They are very vocal but casually flying between the trees. A few other birds around are sitting in trees such as mocking birds but they are just sitting and watching. Seems early for this many and in fact I have never seen that many robins here and have been in the area for 40 plus years spending a lot of time outside
