Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/27/2010

Number: 1

Jacksonville, Fl. Arlington area east of St. Johns River, in an established neighborhood that has a heavy canopy of oak trees.

At 9 AM a beautiful clear blue sky and temp 48.

I stepped out the front door and saw hundreds of Robins on the ground, in the trees and flying about. Numerous birds could be seen up and down the street in each lawn.

I stood there taking in the sight, then called my neighbor
so they could share this moment. Grabbed my camera and went back outside. Behold, the flock had moved on.

This was a repeat of last year when they came through the neighborhood. I did not record the event though. Curious if they are on the move or just foraging.
