Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/09/2009

Number: 1

To celebrate our school's new outdoor classroom, we invited each student to plant one red emperor tulip, for a total of about 270 bulbs. The second graders used the new outdoor classroom planting beds, and other grades planted in other sites around the school. The outdoor classroom beds are the most ideal location at our school for predicting spring, according to the Journey North directions provided. We are curious to see how the other sites around the school compare. It was a clear sunny day, in the lower 60's.
