Hundreds of Robins, perhaps thousands, have been gathered in the trees of our block for the past few hours today (1-31-10). It is currently 2 PM and they are still here. The sound is very loud, almost one continuous chirping sound. The weather has been unseasonably cold for the past two days; with temperatures in North texas below freezing for 24 hours or more, which is unusual. Today in Dallas it is just above freezing.
