My third grade science classes at Episcopal Day School planted 60 Red Emperior Tulip Bulbs. Each student planted two bulbs and placed a stick in the ground with their name on it so they could identify their flowers when they emerged and bloomed. We placed a very light weight plastic grate over our garden to protect the bulbs from being dug up & eaten by pesky squirrels!!
Now we have to wait to see our beautiful tulips!
