For the past 20 years we have noticed that Robins arrive in our area towards the end of January and stay for about 3 weeks before they disappear again.

Most this year are rather thin, but some years they are are all more on the plump side.

In looking out my window, I see over a hundred. A friend lives about 5 miles SW of us and they are in her yard, too.

I wondered if they migrate further south in Florida, like Miami. We have travelled in December to Bradenton, FL on the southwest coast and not seen any at all.
