Students planted 100 tulips on the north side of the school property by the sign. We had to chill our bulbs and plant in January, due to our southern location. We were unable to plant the week before, due to seasonably unusual temperatures. The ground had been frozen! This week, we were finally able to get out and dig far enough into the soil for planting.

A lot of the students were very excited because they'd never done anything like that before. Some of the students decided to try planting their tulips in different areas and depths to see if it affected the results. We are eager to see when the tulips emerge.
