Large wave of Robins arrived today and has been stripping berries from the holly trees in my yard and the remaining sour cherries. Blue birds are with them eating the same holly berries, as well as berries from the Nandina bushes. Also noted the first starling at one of my feeders. All the local birds are feeding heavily and I am hearing first spring songs for many birds as a major snowstorm begins in the area.
