I live in Rockwall, TX. I have not seen any robins in this area in the 21 years we lived here. On 1/30/2010, massive numbers of robins appeared, maybe thousands and settled into our neighborhood. The amount of bird droppings was astronomical. The next morning, they were all gone. Not a single one remained. I have never seen such a large number of robins, and do not recall having seen one in the Dallas area in since we moved into this area in 1978.
