Saw a wave of robins land in the top branches of a tall tree shortly before sunset. They seemed to dance in almost a spiral from the high, bare tree limbs to lower tree limbs, then to even lower to wisteria vines, then just as the sun sank they danced to the dense cover of bamboo and low-growing evergreen bushes where they settled for the night. They totally ignored the nearby birdbath and bird feeder.
