Around 8:30am I saw well over 100 robins flying and landing in and around my back yard and my surrounding neighbors yards. I had never seen anything like it before, especially in the midst of a snow storm barreling down on us. But,it was raining at the time of my observation, blizzard to arrive later this evening.
At 9:00am observed that the robins were now in the tops of the trees staying high. By 9:30am most had gone but I saw a few flying off in the southerly direction and by 9:20am there were no robins in sight.
