Today we had unusual weather. It SNOWED! In East Texas, that is rare! Over half of our tulips have emerged, (we think because of a warm spell), so we decided to cover the emerging tulips with pine straw to help protect them from the snow. We are predicted to get 2-4 inches tonight and are afraid it may harm the tulips. We will keep updating our data as this unusual weather continues.
