I saw a flock of 20 robins on the north lawn at Governors State University. We had had a thaw and they were hopping along in the grass near a grove of trees. A colleague and I counted the flock. I was amazed to see them so early. We have since had about 6-8 inches of snow. I wonder where they have fled to?
