Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/14/2010

Number: 1

My husband and I, over the last weekend have noticed about 20-30 robins flitting about in the trees below our deck. We got about 4 1/2 inches of snow Friday night (unusual for us), which mostly melted Saturday. Saturday afternoon we started seeing the robins. At first, we noted four or five, then Sunday we thought we were counting about 15. This morning, Monday, Feb 15, we saw closer to 30. we have some old oak trees there, and a few are covered with English Ivy (nuisance) - this seems to be what they like. We'd see four or five at one time in close proximity, going in and out of the ivy. Then whole groups would fly. I've never seen this many robins in one place at one time.
