At 1300 I saw the first sighting of a robin returning this season. Within 15 minutes a was able to observe a small "flock" of robins in my front yard. The number looks to be around 6 adult birds. I have seen them scratch in my woodchip pile and drink from a puddle in my driveway. They are flying from woodchip pile to bare fruit trees to roof top of garage.
