After leaving my home in the early afternoon, I disturbed a flock of about 30 birds sitting on the back road from my home. As they flew to the side of the road, I realized that they were robins. I was very surprised since I had not seen any this winter around here. They certainly tell me there is hope for spring around the corner. We still have a snow base of at least 6 inches. I know there are alot of berries still on the wild shrubs around my home and in the area, which is maily wooded land.
