I was on my computer and happened to look out and see approx. 12 fluffed-out robins. It is cold and snowy here today. I'm located in sw Kansas. I recently purchased a plastic dog water dish for birds and looked out this morning and saw 6 robins on it getting water. They were thirsty. The others were in a tree. It was fun seeing them. I have also had a group of purple finches here for about 6 wks. There was a group of around 30 that came at that time. They have been a treat to watch. Also, a tangerine colored finch. And I do have a curved-bill thrasher. At this time he is alone. Bird watching is so much fun!
