We went on the nature trail at our school and looked at the tulip beds. We saw the green and red parts of the leaves that had emerged. The leaves were pointed on the ends. There were about 20 tulips emerged. Our paint sticks that had our names on them had all blown over. The snow and storms from last week probably caused this. When we went to the playground, we noticed that several of last year's tulips had also emerged. We wonder if they will bloom this year.
