Was sitting in my green room looking out at the winter snow melt this afternoon, watching a few mourning doves and a downy woodpecker at the feeder. I saw one robin land high in a tree, first one I have seen this year. YAY! Have not yet heard any yet either. Within moments the backyard and adjacent woods were covered with what had to be a wave of approximately 50 robins. I ran and put handfuls of raisins outside. They stayed about 20 minutes and then moved on.
What a sight!!!
