Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/25/2010

Number: 1

As I drove my son to school this morning, I was sitting in the parking lot and witnessed a beautiful Robin fly into a nearby bamboo tree. There were about four Robin's all together. They were sitting high in the tree basking in the morning sun. Their bright orange chest was facing the sun. They were beautiful. My son and I thought it was a rare and beautiful site. The Blue Jays didn't seem to like them. The Blue Jays were diving at them.
I recently saw on TV that the Robin's were migrating to Florida due to the unusal cold weather in the north. They are eating off the strawberries in the Tampa area and making farmers very mad. The farmers are using humane methods to scare off the Robin's befroe they distroy the strawberry crop.

Thank you,
Debbie and Daniel
