We have six chrysalises and four caterpillars right now. Had many more eggs, but most of them did not survive long after hatching and living to three or four days old. Unfortunately, a predator must have eaten them, or maybe the weather was too cold for them. One baby caterpillar died from an unknown reason. We brought our milkweeds inside (they are in large pots) the last few days as it has been very cold.
