The robin that I saw was pulling out a nice big worm for breakfast just as I discovered him. I haven't seen worms myself, but obviously they are in the front yard. The thawing snow is keeping the ground very moist right now. I hope it will insure a bumper crop of available food for my favorite bird. We have 45" of snow to melt here (just north of Baltimore) from record totals.
