There are scores of robins on Minor Rd. in the township of Manheim, Herkimer County. This location was located one and a half miles west of Dolgeville or 3 miles NNE of Little Falls (Mohawk Valley). I observed them drinking melted road water. There is vague singing occurring within the flock. It's not the vibrant whistling that a individual would do on its territory. The phrases are the same, but it's done in a squeaking sound. I do not know if I should report it as a wave, because local people have told me their there all winter. The location is on the side of a hill separated from Dolgeville by Ransom Creek (Faville Falls). Dolgeville sits in East Canada Creek.
