Counts were taken on Tuesday and Wednesday (12/8-9) just after the worst part of the storm had past. Many grounders (still alive but on the ground when counts began) were found at the Pismo site and a few dead were found at Pismo and Morro Bay (most likely grounders that were eaten by predators). The conditions were cold and stayed very cold all day but were sunny so some fliers were around in the later morning. Most of the sites are around the same numbers as the previous week, with the Pismo site down a bit, some may have moved to another site for protection from the storm.
