This week at all sites the monarchs were found in numerous small clusters and were spread out on the trees, likely due to the recent warm weather. The Andrew Molera monarchs have moved from the center of the euc stand near the cabin to the outskirts of the stand along the trail. Kirk Creek campground was surveyed this week based on suggestions from a few campers and residents at Plaskett Creek. I found 18 fliers/sunners, but was unable to locate any clusters. It was quite warm when I surveyed that site, so I may check it again when it's colder. The weather started out cool in the early mornings, but quickly warmed up by mid-morning.
