We planted 27 bulbs in our "control" garden. We also planted 27 bulbs in an "experimental" garden. Some bulbs in the experimental garden were 9 inches deep, some were 4 inches deep, and some were upside down. We also planted some bulbs next to the building, some on a north facing slope, and some on a south facing slope. We will be interested to find out how the different locations affect the date for the bulbs to emerge and bloom.
