Return of Purple Martins at residence on South Staples Street
while attending to election. Election was held at 5901 South Staples Street (primary for governor of Texas) for my precinct and I noticed Purple Martins returning to this neighbors' Purple Martin homes. The place is next to 5901 South Staples Street. Last year the Purple Martins nested in the homes at this residential site. One could watch them when driving by either on Staples or on a residential street and use your binoculars. I could see them from the open Fire Station door where we were conducting the election.
