Bald eagle sighted within the Charlotte, NC city limits, at Hwy 51 / William Davie Park. Sighting was reported to the Carolina Raptor Center, who confirmed that they had just received another report from the same area (which is on a public greenway with plentiful water sources). This may be the furthest inside the city limits of Charlotte that a bald eagle has been reported.
