Around 2:30p CT, we saw a large bird flying above our house. It was too big to be a hawk. So we got out our binoculars to get a closer look, and we were totally taken by surprise to see that it was a bald eagle. He kept soaring higher and higher until he looked like a dot in the sky and then he pointed North West and took off like a jet. We live in Midtown Mobile and this is the first bald eagle sighting we have seen in our area. Amazing bird!
