A couple days ago had two Monarchs come out of the chrysalis. It was cold, so I kept the butterflies clinging to the plants in my closed garage overnight, then the next morning put the plants in the bright sun somewhat shielded by the wind so the butterflies could warm up enough to fly off. Did the same thing with four emerging Monarchs a couple days before that. Now I have three chrysalises left, one outside and two inside. Haven't seen an adult Monarch in the wild since middle of January.
