large mixed flock, several thousand birds; about half to a third were Redwings; the rest common grackles. feeding on acorns in live-oaks, sweeping up into the trees or back down for fallen nuts, but mostly in the trees.
arrived between 9 AM + 9:30, the last left between 11 and noon.
