Observed 1st male Buff-bellied Hummingbird at Hans Suter
Wildlife Area. Observed in the morning about 8:45am CST where he was observed by 2 birders nectaring on blooming Mexican Honeysuckle. The weather was about 65F and the sun was trying to come out with a few peeks of sunshine. This is the first hummingbird species observed at this site since last late September or early October of 2009.
First hummer here for 2010.
