It was 5:08 pm and my husband and I were talking when I saw the familiar upward loop of something flying toward one of our waiting feeders. I looked and there she was! A female Rufous hummingbird. She was back again this morning, too. This is about and average date for their arrival. Earliest was Feb. 26th about 10 years ago.
